ATLANTA—Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory has announced the following changes in priest assignment....
Archbishop Gregory has confirmed the recommendation of Father Scott Reilly, territorial director of the Legionaries of Christ, and has assigned Father Kevin Baldwin, LC, to assist with retreat and promotion work for the Legion and Regnum Christi members in the Southeast United States, principally in Florida. Father Baldwin will be in residence at the territorial directorate community in Alpharetta and has been appointed for canonical status as parochial vicar at Holy Spirit Church, Atlanta. This assignment is effective Oct. 21.Even a metropolitan does not approve assignments of religious to work in areas that are not under his jurisdiction.
